In a large rectangular compound 50 yards east of A82 and SSE from the entrance to Fort Augustus Golf Club.
LOCKED There are some steps over a wall by the road. All surface features remain intact with the olive green paint in good condition with a little flaking. The hatch is locked.
01.05.12 The area around the post has now been developed with a number of houses but the post survives.
When visited in January 2015, the post was flooding with 1ft of water on the floor.
The aircraft post is on Torr a’Coiltreich at NH 36917 07543 near the Trig Point
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1991.
