The Borough Control at Hastings consists of an ‘L’ shaped single storey blockhouse on a council estate. It was built in 1962 remaining operational until the end of the Civil Defence Corps in 1968. It also acted as Sub County Control to Lewes Town Hall. It was reactivated in the 1980’s.
When visited in the Spring of 2000 the blockhouse was being converted into a community centre.
